Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced traffic diversions around key metro stations as Dubai Metro Blue Line construction is ongoing. The measures are designed to facilitate ongoing works while ensuring commuters’ safety and access.
RTA is temporarily closing the service road leading to Exit 3 at Centrepoint Metro Station. The entrance to the multi-storey car park from Airport Road has also been closed. Commuters are now required to use Exit 1 to access the new parking spaces. Additionally, taxi stands previously located at the front of the station have been moved to 49C Street, behind the car park.
Earlier this month, similar traffic diversions were introduced at Creek Metro Station as part of the ongoing construction. Drivers were advised to follow the on-site directional signboards and plan their journeys in advance.
The Blue Line project, announced as one of Dubai’s most significant transport expansions, will enhance connectivity across the city once completed. In the meantime, residents are encouraged to stay updated on RTA advisories as further diversions may follow during construction.
