Volunteers Join Dubai Municipality To Repaint Graffiti-Affected Walls

WAM

Dubai Municipality has launched a citywide initiative to remove random graffiti and restore the aesthetic appeal of public spaces. The campaign, carried out in collaboration with the Nabd Al Emarat team and volunteers from the Volunteers.ae platform, aims to strengthen community involvement while enhancing Dubai’s urban environment.

More than 60 volunteers have already taken part, repainting over 200 graffiti-affected walls across different neighbourhoods. The effort ensures that walls are repainted with carefully matched colours, in line with high-quality standards that preserve the city’s visual harmony.

The initiative supports the Year of Community initiative, encouraging residents to take part in preserving the beauty and identity of their city. Residents and property owners have praised the campaign for its impact, while volunteers highlighted its role in fostering civic pride, social responsibility, and a stronger sense of belonging.
