Friday, 5 September, is observed as a public holiday across the UAE to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), a day of reflection and celebration for communities nationwide.
On this occasion, the UAE leadership has paid tribute to the enduring legacy of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
In a message shared on social media, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, reflected on Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) compassion and concern for the welfare of others, praying for a world filled with stability, unity, and peace.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also conveyed greetings to the community, emphasising hopes for safety, prosperity, and stability.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, highlighted Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) noble message that illuminated hearts with guidance and light, while His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, also urged reflection on the values and virtues upheld by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
