Dubai Schools Nad Al Sheba has completed the first phase of a major expansion project under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai. The development is part of a wider Dhs 530 million plan to enhance education capacity and quality across the emirate, aligned with the Dubai Social Agenda 33 and the Education 33 Strategy.

Dubai Schools initiative aims to provide Emirati and resident families with access to a distinctive school model that combines world-class academics, advanced technology and strong national identity.

Phase one of expansion of Nad Al Sheba campus, delivered ahead of the 2025-26 academic year, introduced 31 new classrooms, creating space for 777 additional students. The second phase, due by July 2026, will further expand capacity to 2,664 students with 114 classrooms, 31 laboratories, and specialised halls.

Beyond academics, the upgraded campus will feature world-class sports facilities, including a semi-Olympic indoor pool, football pitch, indoor sports hall, gym, and outdoor courts, reinforcing Dubai’s holistic approach to education.

Officials noted that the expansion reflects Dubai’s vision to provide Emirati and resident families with access to high-quality, future-ready learning environments. The initiative also supports the emirate’s long-term goal of positioning Dubai among the world’s top 10 cities for education quality.
