His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has approved Dhs 2 billion in housing support for Emirati citizens. The initiative reflects the UAE’s continued priority to provide modern, high-quality housing that strengthens family stability and social cohesion.
The approvals were issued under the Zayed Housing Programme, with 2,971 housing approvals recorded from January to the end of the third quarter of 2025. These include 522 grants valued at Dhs 355 million, 595 government housing loans worth Dhs 246.2 million, 24 grants or benefits amounting to Dhs 19 million, and 1,830 housing finance approvals totalling Dhs 1.449 billion.
Since July 2022, the programme has issued 11,298 approvals across the country, with a combined value nearing Dhs 9 billion.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed that under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, the nation will continue investing in housing as a pillar of social well-being, ensuring dignified living for Emiratis while delivering solutions swiftly and to the highest standards.
