His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has issued a new law creating the 'Dubai Centre for Judicial Expertise'. The centre, affiliated with the Dubai Judicial Council, will play a key role in improving the quality and efficiency of expert reports used in court cases.
The initiative will provide judicial authorities with access to highly qualified specialists from within the UAE and abroad. By standardising procedures for appointing and evaluating experts, the centre aims to ensure accurate findings and quicker case resolutions. This step will also help build local expertise across specialised fields and foster international partnerships to share best practices.
His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, and Chairman of the Dubai Judicial Council, highlighted that the new centre will strengthen trust in Dubai’s judiciary and support its position as a leading destination for living, working and investing.
