Dubai’s private education sector is set for another year of strong growth with the opening of 25 new institutions during the 2025-26 academic year. These include 16 early childhood centres (ECCs), six schools, and three international universities, offering families across the city greater choice and access to world-class education.

The new schools will provide over 11,700 additional seats, while ECCs will welcome more than 2,400 young learners.

Among the schools are five following the UK curriculum, including GEMS School of Research and Innovation in Sports City, Dubai British School Mira, Victory Heights Primary School in City of Arabia, Dubai English Speaking School in Academic City, and Al Fanar School in Nad Al Sheba, and one French curriculum school, Lycée Français International School in Mudon.

Families will also benefit from diverse early learning options, with new centres offering UK’s Early Years Foundation Stage, Creative Curriculum, Montessori, and Maple Bear programmes.

Meanwhile, higher education in Dubai is being strengthened with the arrival of renowned names such as the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, the American University of Beirut, and Fakeeh College for Medical Sciences.
