Dubai To Get 200 Ultra-Fast EV Charging Stations

Dubai Media Office

Dubai drivers will soon find it easier and faster to charge their electric vehicles (EVs), thanks to a new partnership between Parkin and 'charge&go', a subsidiary of e&. Scheduled for launch in October, the initiative will see 200 ultra-fast charging stations installed across the city, reducing charging time to under 30 minutes.

Phase one will include 20 stations at some of Dubai’s busiest locations, with the full rollout to follow over the following 12 months. The network will use advanced DC charger technology, offering significantly quicker charging than traditional AC systems.

EV drivers will be able to book charging slots through the Parkin mobile app, which also provides real-time status updates and secure payment options. To ensure fair use, a strict 'park and charge' policy will prevent vehicles from occupying charging bays once charging is complete.

With Parkin managing over 212,000 paid parking spaces across Dubai, the initiative marks a major step in supporting the UAE’s sustainability goals and encouraging the shift toward cleaner mobility.
