UAE Authorities Warn Against Online Accounts Offering Faster Services

WAM

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has issued a public warning about fraudulent online services claiming to speed up visa, residency, or work-related procedures in the UAE. These scams often appear as ads on social media or unofficial websites, and they use deceptive advertising tactics to exploit the customers.

The ICP clarified that no external company has been granted any special privileges to fast-track applications. Services are only available through the official ICP website, smart app, authorised service centres, or licenced typing offices.

Using unofficial channels may lead to excessive fees, legal consequences, and exposure to personal data misuse. The ICP is actively tracking suspicious online activity and working with relevant authorities to stop these scams.

All residents and visitors are advised to avoid unnecessary financial and legal risks by ensuring that services are completed safely and legally.
