Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially approved the launch of a new driver training and licensing centre at Al Rowaiyah 3, as part of its ongoing mission to improve service accessibility and quality across the emirate.
Operated by First Driving Centre, the facility is now open and offers key services such as traffic file opening, driving lessons, theoretical and practical tests, and licence issuance for light vehicles and motorcycles. Services for heavy vehicles, buses, and mechanical equipment are expected to follow soon.
The opening marks the 28th driver licensing service location under the RTA umbrella, reinforcing Dubai’s commitment to delivering efficient, modern public services that meet the needs of a growing population.
Service hours are Mondays to Thursdays from 7am to 8pm, Fridays from 7am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 8pm, and Saturdays from 7am to 8pm. The centre remains closed on Sundays, except for scheduled training sessions.
