Mubadala Investment Company has officially launched the Al Maryah Waterfront enhancement project, marking a major milestone in the evolution of Abu Dhabi’s urban and lifestyle offerings. The groundbreaking project signals the start of a visionary transformation on Al Maryah Island.
The project is set to introduce an extraordinary mix of lifestyle, entertainment, and hospitality experiences, positioning Al Maryah Island as a key global destination for both residents and tourists.
At the centre of the new development is an awe-inspiring 30-metre-tall luminous sphere, wrapped in flowing water and surrounded by more than 1,000 AI-powered water jets that soar over 75 metres high. The water jets will be choreographed to music composed by Ramin Djawadi, the acclaimed composer behind musical scores in 'Game of Thrones'.
