Dubai’s unified digital health platform, NABIDH, has achieved a significant milestone, with more than 10.41 million medical records stored on the system as of June this year.
Managed by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), NABIDH is transforming healthcare delivery by allowing instant, secure access to patient data across the emirate. The platform currently connects 53,659 healthcare professionals, 1,888 licenced facilities, and 91 electronic medical record systems, offering a seamless flow of information between public and private providers.
If you visit different clinics or hospitals in Dubai, your records can be easily accessed by doctors, saving time and avoiding repeated tests.
Doctors at DHA also note that NABIDH platform helps ensure smoother transfer of patients between healthcare facilities. By consolidating patient records in one digital network, NABIDH plays a crucial role in improving efficiency, supporting emergency care, enhancing clinical decision-making, and enabling long-term health research.
Seen as a cornerstone of Dubai’s broader digital health strategy, the system is also bolstering collaboration between public institutions and private healthcare providers, laying the foundation for a smarter, more connected healthcare future.
