The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather alert across the UAE, warning of reduced visibility due to winds carrying dust and sand. The alert remains in effect until 5pm today and affects several areas, including Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
In the capital, Abu Dhabi Police have urged drivers to exercise caution on the roads. Visibility in some parts of the emirate is significantly reduced, prompting safety reminders for motorists to slow down, keep headlights on, and avoid distractions while driving.
NCM also forecasts dusty conditions to remain throughout this week. Meanwhile, temperatures are predicted to remain high across the UAE throughout the week.
