Dubai Municipality has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Parkin Company PJSC, tasking the company with managing select free public parking facilities owned by Dubai Municipality across the city. The move is aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, streamlining services, and supporting Dubai’s growing smart mobility ecosystem.
The MoU sets a broader framework for cooperation between the two entities. This includes developing unified planning and regulatory standards, exploring investment opportunities in developing new multi-storey car parks, managing parking during major public events and introducing smart access and payment systems.
Both sides will also work on identifying ways to convert private plots into usable public parking zones, helping ease congestion in high-traffic areas and improving overall accessibility.
The collaboration supports Dubai’s vision of a seamless and integrated mobility network, while making it easier for everyone to navigate the city with greater convenience.
