Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a significant traffic diversion on Al Qudra Road which will continue for five months until November, as part of ongoing bridge constructions near the Arabian Ranches and Dubai Studio City junction. The ongoing works are aimed at improving overall traffic capacity and reduce delays on Al Qudra Road.
The project involves removing the traffic signal at the intersection of Al Qudra Road and the road connecting Arabian Ranches and Dubai Studio City. As the traffic signal is absent now, vehicles will be rerouted to temporary roads outside this intersection to allow movement in both directions between Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street.
To maintain smooth traffic during the construction phase, two new signal-free U-turns are also added nearby to manage redirection and ease congestion in the area.
RTA has urged all motorists who use the route, particularly residents of Arabian Ranches, Dubai Studio City, and nearby communities, to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra travel time during the diversion period.
