Families in the UAE looking for meaningful summer activities for their children now have a rich lineup to choose from, as the Sharjah Museums Authority (SMA) announces the return of its 'Happy Holiday Camp'. Taking place across five of its most visited museums, the programme offers hands-on workshops and immersive experiences designed to ignite curiosity and creativity among children aged 6 years to 12 years.
Taking place throughout July and August, each camp is tailored to a unique theme, ranging from archaeology and marine life to Islamic art and space science. The camps will be hosted at Sharjah Archaeology Museum, Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilisation, Sharjah Aquarium, Sharjah Science Museum, and Sharjah Maritime Museum.
Children will try pottery making, uncover ancient professions, experiment with chemistry, explore Artificial Intelligence, and even participate in live fishing sessions. With spaces limited, early registration is encouraged. For more details and registration, check out Visit Sharjah.
