His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has announced the launch of second phase of the UAE’s ‘Zero Government Bureaucracy’ initiative, targeting digital complexity.
In a post on X, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed stated, "The goal is a government without complexity, services without waiting...and results that make a real difference in people's lives".
The first phase of the initiative has already delivered significant impact, by reducing service delivery time by over 70 percent, eliminating more than 4,000 unnecessary procedures and saving customers over 12 million hours in travel and processing time.
The second phase is expected to cut down on digital bureaucracy by streamlining digital applications and enhancing overall customer experience. This will involve modernising all government digital systems and integrating Artificial Intelligence.
