Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced ongoing traffic delays and temporary road closures on a key stretch of Dubai-Al Ain Road, as part of ongoing bridge maintenance works aimed at enhancing the city’s transport infrastructure.
Until 26 June, drivers can expect significant disruptions along the Dubai-Al Ain Road towards Dubai, particularly at the intersection with Jebel Ali-Lehbab Road.
The closures are part of broader maintenance works to enhance road safety and reduce bottlenecks along one of Dubai’s busiest corridors, particularly for commuters from Al Ain, Jebel Ali, and Dubai Industrial City.
Here's what you need to know:
- The exit from Dubai-Al Ain Road to Jebel Ali-Lehbab Road, from Al Ain towards Jebel Ali, will be closed. Motorists should use the next available exit on E66.
- The exit from Jebel Ali-Lehbab Road to Dubai-Al Ain Road, from Jebel Ali towards Dubai, will also be closed. Use the next exit on E77 as an alternative.
RTA has advised all drivers to plan journeys in advance, allow for extra travel time, and follow road signs to avoid congestion.
