Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has alerted motorists to expect delays on First Al Khail Road and surrounding areas, as Dubai Municipality undertakes maintenance work on two key stretches.
According to RTA's social media post, delays are to be expected on First Al Khail Road, specifically in the stretch between Umm Suqeim Street and Latifa Bint Hamdan Street, as well as at the intersection of Al Manara Street with First Al Khail Road heading towards Latifa Bint Hamdan Street. This could impact daily commutes for residents in Al Quoz, Al Khail and neighbouring areas connected via these busy routes.
The RTA has encouraged drivers to opt for Al Asayel Street or Sheikh Zayed Road as alternative routes to avoid congestion, especially during peak hours.
While the advisory highlights ongoing work, no official timeline has been given for when the maintenance will be completed. Until further updates, commuters in surrounding neighbourhoods are advised to plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
