The UAE has launched ‘UAE Future 50’, a bold initiative spotlighting fifty promising Emirati startups driving innovation across key industries. Unveiled in Dubai in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, the new programme aims to accelerate innovation, support local entrepreneurship, and diversify the national economy in line with the 'We the UAE 2031 vision'.
Jointly developed by the Government Development and The Future Office and the Ministry of Economy, ‘UAE Future 50’ recognises fifty Emirati-led startups across fifteen future-focused sectors, including fintech and healthtech, space and cybersecurity, renewable energy, smart mobility and more.
‘UAE Future 50’ reinforces the country's focus on building a resilient, knowledge-based economy by empowering national talent and expanding global competitiveness through innovation. Reflecting on the initiative, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan said, "Emirati innovators are playing a key role in driving economic diversification, advancing future-focused industries, and strengthening the nation’s global competitiveness, efforts that align with the ambitions of ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision".
