Getting a taxi in Dubai is now quicker and more convenient, thanks to a major expansion in the partnership between global ride-hailing platform Bolt and Dubai Taxi Company (DTC). As part of the expansion, over 6,000 DTC taxis, including Ladies and Family Taxis and vehicles for People of Determination, have been added to the Bolt app.
To celebrate the new milestone, Bolt is offering thirty percent cashback on users’ first three rides, with no surge pricing, ensuring affordability even during peak hours.
The expansion supports Dubai’s Smart City vision and its ongoing goal of shifting eighty percent of taxi bookings to digital platforms, enhancing urban mobility and cutting down waiting times. For residents and tourists alike, it’s a significant upgrade in terms of accessibility, safety, and service flexibility.
