Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the construction of a new two-lane bridge in Nad Al Sheba, designed to ease congestion and improve traffic flow for residents in the area.

The upcoming bridge will span approximately 700 metres and link inbound traffic from Dubai-Al Ain Road directly to Nad Al Sheba, reducing travel time from six minutes to just one, a striking 83 percent decrease.

With a design capacity of 2,600 vehicles per hour, the bridge is expected to serve around 30,000 residents, significantly improving accessibility to the neighbourhood and easing congestion at entry and exit points throughout Nad Al Sheba area.

Construction is scheduled to begin in fourth quarter of this year, with the project targeted for completion by the end of 2026. It is part of the RTA’s broader efforts to enhance road infrastructure to achieve safer and more efficient mobility, keeping up with Dubai’s rapid urban development.
