Emirates Rewards Staff With Salary Bonus After Record-Breaking Profits

Dubai-based international aviation company, The Emirates Group, has reported record annual profits of Dhs 21.7 billion in 2024-25 period, making it the world’s most profitable airline and rewarded its staff with a 22-week salary bonus.

The Emirates Group, which now employs over 121,000 people, celebrated its most successful year ever. The massive bonus underscores Emirates’ continued commitment to its workforce, as the airline plays a leading role in driving the UAE’s economy and global connectivity.

The aviation group’s annual report, released on Thursday, showed a 18% increase in profits over last year, alongside record-high revenue of Dhs 145.4 billion, a clear sign of strong demand and strategic growth across its global network.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, praised the achievement on social media saying, “Emirates is not just a transport company. It is a tool for economic transformation for the UAE, a strategic bridge connecting the world’s continents, and a developmental carrier flying us through the skies toward the future".
