Dubai Duty Free has once again come out on top by winning the ‘Best Duty Free Shopping in the Middle East’ award for the 24th consecutive year at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2024. The event held at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City on 28 April saw over 300 key figures from the global travel and tourism industry gather.
Dubai Duty Free stood out in a highly competitive category, beating leading airport retailers in Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, and Abu Dhabi. The winners were determined through an online survey by Business Traveller magazine, run over a month from 4 February to 7 March.
Ramesh Cidambi, Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free, expressed gratitude to customers and staff and said, “We are truly honoured to be recognised as the “Best Duty Free Shopping in the Middle East” for a record 24 consecutive years. Our thanks to everyone who voted for Dubai Duty Free and it is incredible to think that we have been the recipient of this award every year since they were introduced.
