Getting in and out of Dubai Investments Park (DIP) just got a lot easier. Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in collaboration with Etihad Rail, has officially opened a new 1.8km-long flyover on Al Yalayis Street, facilitating movement to and from DIP.
Here’s what you need to know:

The bridge is signal-controlled with three lanes and extra slip roads for smoother access to Sheikh Zayed Road.

It’s designed to ease traffic congestion, improve safety and boost access around one of Dubai’s busiest industrial and residential areas.

Crucially, the bridge also supports the Etihad Rail project, allowing trains to run along the central median without disrupting cars on the road.
The new flyover is part of a bigger plan to improve the UAE’s transport system, making it easier for passenger and freight trains to move through the country without getting stuck in city traffic.
Looking ahead, RTA and Etihad Rail plan to extend the bridge toward Jumeirah Golf Estates and add even more lanes to enhance connectivity for residents and businesses in the area.
This marks another step toward creating an integrated and sustainable road and rail network for Dubai and the UAE.
