If you're flying through Dubai International Airport (DXB) today, here's an important update you should know before heading out. The airport train connecting Terminal 1 and D Gates is temporarily not working. Instead, buses are being used to help passengers move between these areas.
Only passengers needing to travel between Terminal 1 and D Gates are affected. All other terminal transfers and services, including Dubai Metro access to Terminals 1 and 3, are operating as normal.
DXB shared the announcement on social media, apologising for the inconvenience caused and also ensuring that works are underway to quickly resolve the issue.
So, if you’re heading to a flight that departs from D Gates, leave yourself some extra time to catch the replacement shuttle buses and make it to your gate.
