Students at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (SUAD) and Sciences Po, one of France’s top universities, will now have a chance to study abroad under a new cultural exchange programme launched between the two institutions.
Each year, up to 10 undergraduate or graduate students from each university will participate in the exchange, gaining first-hand academic and cultural experience in a new international setting.
The exchange aims to give students a global exposure, strengthen academic and cultural ties between France and the UAE, and also integrating the renowned French learning model to support the UAE’s vision for innovation and education.
Professor Nathalie Martial-Braz, Chancellor of SUAD, commented on the partnership saying, “We are very happy about this new partnership with Sciences Po and proud to offer an international exchange programme with one of the top institutions worldwide that promises to be an enriching experience for students from both campuses. This collaboration aligns seamlessly with our mission to foster an excellent educational experience that transcends borders. By partnering with Sciences Po, we are enhancing the learning journey for our students, providing them with the cultural and academic resources needed to excel in a globally interconnected world.”
Alongside the student exchange, the two institutions will also explore faculty exchanges, language programmes, joint research and workshops, executive short courses and the potential development of joint degrees.
This collaboration offers exciting new opportunities for students in both Abu Dhabi and France, building a bridge between two leading institutions committed to educational excellence and global cooperation.
