The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) took part in the Generation Readiness Exhibition, held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre under the theme 'Building Aware and Prepared Generations' from 8 to 10 April. The event ran alongside the World Crisis and Emergency Management Summit 2025, bringing together key stakeholders to enhance the country’s emergency readiness and crisis response systems.

As part of its participation, MoHAP organised a series of interactive workshops aimed at engaging young people with practical health education. The sessions promoted essential habits like hand hygiene, proper nutrition and preventive care, reinforcing the ministry’s broader strategy to build a culture of prevention and public health resilience. It helped boost the youngsters' ability to deal with health crises through interactive learning and community partnerships.

Dr. Hussain Abdul Rahman Al Rand, Assistant Under-Secretary for the Public Health Sector, noted that the initiative aligns with the ministry’s goals to strengthen early warning systems, tackle epidemics proactively, and build sustainable community health readiness.

MoHAP’s participation reflects the UAE’s continued commitment to safeguarding public health and ensuring the next generation is better equipped to face future challenges through education, awareness and preventive action.
