In a significant move to bolster social welfare, Abu Dhabi has approved a comprehensive housing package worth Dhs 6.75 billion, benefiting 4,356 Emirati citizens.
Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, the housing benefits package was approved by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, underscoring the leadership’s commitment to family stability and national development. The package, timed ahead of Eid Al-Fitr, includes housing loans, land grants, and exemptions for retirees and low-income families.
The benefits are structured to address diverse needs:

Dhs 5.08 billion in housing loans for 3,172 citizens

Dhs 1.585 billion in land grants and ready-built homes for 1,100 recipients

Dhs 94.8 million in loan exemptions for 84 senior citizens and low-income retirees and beneficiaries of deceased citizens.
Since the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority’s establishment, cumulative housing support has reached Dhs 168.85 billion, assisting over 123,000 citizens. The disbursement of housing benefits package reflects Abu Dhabi’s long-term strategy to empower citizens through accessible housing, reinforcing social welfare as a cornerstone of development.
