Dubai’s Community Development Authority (CDA) organised the ‘Dubai Iftar’, a special event held at Al Wasl Plaza in Expo City to foster unity and social harmony during Ramadan. The event, which welcomed 1,000 participants from various faiths and backgrounds, aligns with the UAE’s ‘Year of the Community’ vision, promoting solidarity and inclusivity.
Her Excellency Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director General of the Community Development Authority in Dubai, highlighted how the event celebrates coexistence, compassion, and mutual respect, values deeply rooted in UAE society.
The event saw the participation of religious leaders, community groups, social clubs, and individuals from government and private sectors, reinforcing Dubai’s commitment to multicultural harmony.
'Dubai Iftar' also encouraged meaningful conversations on the role of volunteering, charity, and collective responsibility in building a more inclusive and supportive society. It also underscored the UAE’s longstanding commitment to religious tolerance and freedom of worship.
By promoting such cross-cultural connections, CDA ensures that Dubai remains a global model of peaceful coexistence.
