RTA To Strengthen Infrastructure With New Partnerships

Dubai Media Office

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has signed nine strategic cooperation agreements with major property developers and free zone authorities in Dubai. These agreements aim to streamline approvals for infrastructure projects, enhance road safety and improve service levels by ensuring that all development projects adhere to Dubai’s high regulatory standards.

The RTA’s new agreements bring together major real estate developers and free zone authorities, including: Emaar Properties, DAMAC Properties, Majid Al Futtaim Properties, Nshama, Al Futtaim Properties, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai Investments Park and Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority.

These collaborations will create a centralised platform for managing infrastructure projects within the right-of-way and public roads, supporting seamless traffic flow and a more pedestrian-friendly environment

By working closely with developers and free zones, RTA aims to elevate Dubai’s road infrastructure to global best practices, ensuring safety, efficiency and sustainability.
