The initiative is part of RTA’s efforts to enhance commuter experience and digital transformation in line with Dubai’s vision of becoming the smartest city in the world.

The Wi-Fi service is set to expand to all 43 RTA stations, including 21 bus stations and 22 marine transport hubs, with full implementation expected by second quarter of this year.

Khaled AbdulRahman Al Awadhi, Director of Transportation Systems at RTA’s Public Transport Agency, highlighted that the initiative enables passengers to stay connected while commuting via smartphones, tablets and laptops.

RTA has also announced that the Wi-Fi service will undergo continuous evaluation to ensure high-quality connectivity for passengers.
