Dubai Municipality has announced the completion of newly designed sports fields across public parks and recreational areas in collaboration with leading international companies, including PepsiCo, Red Bull, Deliveroo, Puma and Intercontinental Tyres.
The sports fields have been developed in key locations, including: Mankhool Park, Uptown Mirdif Park, Hor Al Anz, Al Satwa, Al Barsha Lake, Al Jafilia Square and Al Warqa Park.
These new multi-purpose courts blend modern art with high-quality sporting infrastructure. The designs feature hand-painted artwork by local and international artists, incorporating vibrant themes inspired by the sports they accommodate.
Notably, the volleyball court in Al Mankhool Park has been built using recycled tyres, ensuring eco-friendly construction that meets sustainability standards. Basketball courts feature dynamic artwork reflecting athleticism and movement, while other fields integrate innovative graphics that enhance community identity and competition.
The initiative aligns with Dubai Municipality’s efforts to enhance public parks and recreational facilities while reinforcing Dubai’s status as a global hub for sports, culture and sustainability. By partnering with private sector leaders, Dubai Municipality aims to provide world-class recreational spaces that cater to citizens, residents and visitors, fostering an active and healthy lifestyle.
