The Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge returns for its 15th edition this weekend, bringing together thousands of cyclists for a 92km main race and shorter 35km and 12km events. As part of the event, temporary road closures will be in effect on Saturday, 22 February, and Sunday, 23 February.
Saturday, 22 February: 35km And 12km Races
- From 6.15am to 9.30am, access to Zayed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Road from Expo City Dubai will be restricted, affecting areas like Tilal Al Ghaf and Remraam.
Sunday, 23 February: 92km Main Race

From 6.10am to 8.22am, roads including Zayed Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Road, Al Qudra Road and Umm Suqeim will see restrictions, affecting areas like Al Reem, Damac Hills, Mira, Town Square, Cherry Woods, Serena, Arabian Ranches 2, The Sustainable City, Al Waha and Layan. Additional closures from 6.22am to 8.22am will also affect areas including Global Village, The Villa, Cityland Mall and Arabian Ranches.

From 6.50am to 8.40am, Hessa Street will remain closed, affecting residents in Studio City and Motor City. Additional closures from 6.10am to 9.50am will affect areas like Tilal Al Ghaf, and further, from 7.25am to 9.50am, residents in areas like Sports City, Jumeirah Golf Estates, Al Barsha, Al Barsha South and Jumeirah Village Circle will be affected.

From 7am to 9.30am, Al Asayel Street will remain closed with diversions and controlled exits in place, affecting areas like the Springs, Jumeirah Park, Emirates Hills, Jumeirah Islands, JLT (DMCC) and Meadows.
The event is officially approved by the UAE Cycling Federation, Dubai Sports Council, Dubai Police, RTA, and Dubai Municipality.
