Dubai is gearing up for the main championship event of the sixth edition of Dubai Games, the premier community sporting event, set to run from 20 February.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Chairman of the Executive Council, the event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with over 240 teams competing for a prize pool exceeding Dhs 3.1 million.
This year’s edition has secured strategic partnerships with key entities, including the Dubai Sports Council, DEWA, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Adidas and DAMAC Group, among others.
A Celebration Of Community And Healthy Living
Dubai Games 2025 features exciting categories such as the Battle of the Government, Battle of the Community, Battle of the Cities and Battle of the Juniors. The event aims to foster a culture of sportsmanship, unity and resilience, aligning with the UAE’s vision of making sports a cornerstone of community well-being.
Different strategic sponsors of the event stressed on the importance of such initiatives that reflects a commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle and strengthening social bonds and cohesion through friendly and spirited competitions.
Dubai Games 2025 kicked off with the Battle of the Community pre-qualification on 1 February, and will be followed by the Battle of the Juniors on 8 February at DAMAC Hills. The main championship is set to run from 20 to 23 February at Dubai Festival City.
