The Middle East’s leading health, fitness, and wellness expo, Dubai Active, is returning from 25 to 27 October 2024 at a brand-new venue, the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City. This year promises an even more spectacular event, featuring the HYROX 365 Challenge Powered by GymNation with various activations, an impressive line-up of global fitness icons, and community initiatives.
Dubai Active, in partnership with Dubai Sports Council, Dubai Tourism, and organised by the Italian Exhibition Group Middle East (IEG), will draw over 600 athletes and fitness influencers globally, offering 38,000 attendees unmatched fitness experiences. More than 400 top brands, including Lululemon, REFLO, Optimum Nutrition, The Beemin Lab, and Zumba, will showcase the latest products in apparel, equipment, nutrition, and technology.
At Dubai Active, you can enjoy a dynamic line-up of non-stop workouts, expert talks, and giveaways. Meet renowned fitness icons like Leana Deeb, Kayla Itsines, and Courtney Black, along with a stellar group of fitness and wellness advocates including Yash Moradiya, Leah Simmons, Ava Rodriguez, Zack Chug, and Rhea Jacobs.
Dubai Active To Have Unique Challenges And Initiatives
This year’s Dubai Active features the world’s first HYROX 365 Challenge, powered by GymNation. This global fitness competition will test athletes with intense physical challenges over two days. On 25 October, GymNation and HYROX will host a special edition of the challenge for People of Determination, partnering with the Heroes of Hope Foundation to include over 50 children and young adults from the UAE.
Strength sports fans can enjoy The Den Lifting Zone by The Den DXB; with workshops and lifting competitions all weekend. There will also be an Olympic weightlifting seminar with Sonny Webster on 25 October and the Forge Grappling Challenge by Roger Gracie Academy featuring Jiu-Jitsu seminars and competitions. Team Nogueira Dubai will present boxing and Muay Thai through their ‘Future Champions’ tournament, with training and demonstrations.
Dubai Active also offers diverse experiences, such as the yoga and Pilates studio with mindfulness and meditation sessions, a high-energy active arena with Zumba and a special Lululemon Yoga session led by Karina Onga, and the Battle of the Brands on 26 October, where performance apparel brands compete for a two-month activation in GO Sport stores and expert guidance.
Additionally, Dubai Active 2024 continues its Schools Initiative, providing free tickets to students and promoting an active lifestyle from a young age, reinforcing its commitment to health and well-being among UAE youth.
