Hop On Hop Off buses are a popular way to explore cities worldwide, offering a convenient way to see major landmarks with minimal walking. With mapped routes, tour guides, and audio commentary, these buses are ideal for a quick city tour. In Dubai, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is set to introduce a similar experience this September 2024 with the launch of the On and Off Bus, a tourist bus. This new initiative aims to entice residents and visitors to discover the emirate’s iconic landmarks and top attractions.
The Dubai On and Off Bus will enhance the city's public transport network by connecting with various modes of transportation, including the metro, marine transport, and public buses, particularly at Al Ghubaiba station, a major hub for these services.
This new service invites residents and visitors to discover Dubai, one stop at a time. Departing from Dubai Mall, the bus will offer stops at eight of Dubai’s top attractions and landmarks such as Dubai Frame, Heritage Village, Museum of the Future, Gold Souk, Dubai Mall, La Mer Beach, Jumeirah Mosque, and City Walk.
The route includes nine stops, including Al Ghubaiba metro, bus, and marine transport station, showcasing Dubai’s integrated public transport system.
The On and Off Bus will run daily from 10am to 10pm, with departures every 60 minutes. A full tour of the landmarks will take approximately two hours, and a ticket costs Dhs 35 per person, valid for the entire day.
