Dubai’s real estate market is thriving with the introduction of new residential projects across the emirate. Alongside prominent developments like Six Senses residences and ILUKA residences, DAMAC Properties, a leading property developer based in Dubai, has recently announced a major new venture. The company has signed a contract with Modern Building Contracting Co. (MBCC), one of the UAE's top construction firms, to develop a 52-storey tower named DAMAC Harbour Lights.
This upcoming project will feature 294 luxurious apartments, further elevating Dubai’s skyline and setting new standards in high-end living.
Under this agreement, MBCC will handle the main works package, which encompasses the construction of the tower and the parking block. Renowned for their proficiency in managing large-scale projects across Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, and Lebanon, MBCC brings extensive experience and a solid reputation for quality and dependability to this project.
Construction on DAMAC Harbour Lights is progressing well, with shoring and piling already completed. The focus has now shifted to developing the basement substructure, paving the way for subsequent phases of the project.
The 52-storey tower is set for completion by the second quarter of 2027. Reflecting DAMAC’s dedication to innovation and sustainability, the project will employ advanced construction technologies, including prefabricated bathroom pods. These units will streamline the building process, improve efficiency, and ensure consistent quality across all apartments.
Located between Port Rashid and Dubai's Drydocks World, DAMAC Harbour Lights will offer spacious one, two, and three-bedroom apartments that blend maritime heritage with contemporary seafront living. The design inspired by the Greek word 'Chrysogonos' (meaning 'begotten of gold') incorporates luxurious elements linked to maritime history.
DAMAC Harbour Lights is part of a broader trend of luxury residential developments by DAMAC, which has launched over 15 residential towers in the past two years.
Additionally, DAMAC is expanding its portfolio with community projects like the forthcoming DAMAC Lagoons, the developer’s third master community, which is expected to start handing over units this year.
