Dubai Airports, which manages both Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central, has unveiled a new facility that combines left luggage and mishandled baggage services to improve the guest experience at DXB's Terminal 2. This new baggage service centre, now operational, serves as a comprehensive solution for all baggage-related needs, conveniently located to allow guests to store and retrieve their bags around the clock.
The facility features a seamless and secure connection between publicly accessible areas and the secured zones of the terminal. This setup enables guests to collect their luggage without undergoing additional screening, thereby enhancing safety and minimising waiting times.
The launch of this service exemplifies the strong collaboration between Dubai Airports and its service partners, including Dubai Police, Dubai Customs, and dnata.
Besides this, DXB is celebrating the Olympics with its first-ever DXB Games taking place at DXB Terminal 3. Transforming into a celebration of sportsmanship and cultural diversity, DXB Terminal 3's Family Zone has become a lively sporting arena until 11 August.
With an expected 91 million passengers in 2024, DXB is dedicated to delivering the best services to its travellers.
