To support delivery riders this summer, talabat, the leading delivery application in the UAE, has teamed up with Barakat, the UAE’s prominent produce brand, to distribute 30,000 ice creams to delivery riders this summer. These refreshing treats will be given out every Tuesday in Abu Dhabi and every Friday in Dubai until 31 August, offering riders a chance to rest and recharge amidst the heat.
This initiative is part of talabat’s annual ‘Summer Together’ program for riders, which also includes the provision of 25 air-conditioned rest areas across the UAE equipped in areas like Abu Kadra and Nad Al Hammar in Dubai, Al Sunbulah and Al Qaryah in Sharjah and more, with water dispensers and mobile recharge stations.
In addition to these dedicated spaces, talabat has set up 49 talabat mart and cloud kitchen locations across all emirates where riders can take breaks between deliveries.
