Dubai Courts has launched a service package to streamline judicial procedures for senior citizens and people of determination. This initiative aims to enhance user experience and improve service efficiency, representing a pioneering model in judicial services for this important social segment.
Dr Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director-General of Dubai Courts, said, "Dubai Courts is keen to make it easier for senior citizens and people of determination to obtain judicial services. We place the highest priority on enhancing rapid and easy access to the services as part of our efforts to create a judicial environment characterised by transparency, efficiency, and efficient delivery of justice. The initiative also forms part of the strategy of Dubai Courts to enhance innovation and excellence in judicial services."
The new initiative includes the following services:
Shore: Offers free legal consultation services through accredited law firms in Dubai.
Sanad: Provides voluntary legal representation in cases, partnering with accredited law firms in Dubai.
Fee Postponement and Exemption: Assists litigants unable to pay legal fees by postponing or exempting them.
Aoun: Supports financially insolvent litigants with expert costs in cases, in collaboration with accredited service providers.
Courts of Goodness: Helps pay the debts of insolvent individuals with judicial rulings from Dubai Courts.
Al Adheed Services: Offers free services from Al Adheed Centres to the targeted groups.
Qareeb: Provides transportation to Dubai Courts services.
Additional services include priority service at service centres, priority call centre assistance, dedicated parking, and rooms for video calling.
