The highly anticipated 2024 edition of The Women’s Run, the largest women’s-only running event in the region, is set to make a bold statement with its new look and enhanced vision. Featuring dynamic initiatives and exciting partnerships, The Women’s Run 2024 aims to celebrate and empower women runners across the UAE. Scheduled to take place at the iconic Al Forsan Park in Expo City Dubai on Sunday, 3 November from 6am onwards, the event invites women runners of all levels to participate in the 3km fun run, the 5km circuit, or the challenging 10km distance.
Initiated by PlanB Events, with the support of the Dubai Sports Council, the run continues to celebrate the spirit of multicultural, empowered women in the region.
The Women’s Run 2024 Edition is poised to expand its impact across the Middle East, aiming to attract participants from local, regional, and international communities, celebrating the spirit of today’s women through empowerment and unity.
In the lead-up to the main event, The Women’s Run team plans to initiate community-driven activities and highlight their curated Women Of Substance cohort for 2024. This initiative aims to foster a female community where each woman embraces her inherent potential and inspires others. This year, 11 remarkable individuals have been selected to share their stories of triumph and resilience through social media platforms. They will also participate in community events before the run, encouraging broader participation in the event.
The event promises a wholesome experience for the entire family, featuring engaging fitness challenges, empowering discussions on fitness importance, and a diverse range of community-driven activities.
Embracing community values, The Women’s Run welcomes participation from empowered athletic groups, women entrepreneurs, resilient mothers, and humanitarian organisations such as Special Olympics UAE, Heroes Of Hope, At The Park, and more.
