The General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Zakat has instructed preachers of mosques across the UAE to limit the Friday sermon duration to a maximum of 10 minutes starting today, Friday, 28 June until early October.

By shortening the sermon duration, authorities aim to accommodate the needs of worshippers visiting mosques, particularly during the summer months. This measure underscores the UAE's commitment to providing a safe environment for worshippers while adhering to religious obligations.
