The Eid Al Adha holiday is over, and as we return to work after a much-needed break, there's more good news. Another long weekend is coming up in 2024. The UAE Cabinet has announced that UAE National Day will be observed on 2 and 3 December, which falls on a Monday and Tuesday. This results in an extended four-day break for those with a standard two-day weekend. So UAE residents can enjoy a four-day break from Saturday 30 November to Tuesday 3 December.
In addition to the National Day, the Islamic New Year is expected to fall on Sunday, 7 July. However, it is yet to be confirmed if a public holiday on a working day will follow.
