Over 2.6 Million Passengers To Depart In One Month, Announces Emirates

Emirates

As Dubai International Airport (DXB) maintains its position as the world's busiest international hub for passengers, Dubai's leading carrier, Emirates, is urging its customers to pay attention to important timings for a seamless travel experience during the busy summer peak period. Over the next month, Emirates anticipates more than 2.6 million passengers will depart from DXB.

According to Emirates, the airport's busiest days are anticipated to be just before Eid Al Adha on Saturday, 15 June, and again on Saturday, 6 July, coinciding with the start of summer holidays for many families. During peak travel periods, Emirates urges customers to prepare for increased traffic on roads leading to the airport, higher volumes of passengers going through Immigration, and potential delays navigating between concourses to reach boarding gates.

During peak travel periods, Emirates recommends arriving at the airport at least 3 hours before your flight departure time to account for potential congestion and longer processing times. Passengers should aim to complete Immigration procedures at least 1.5 hours before departure and ensure they arrive at their designated boarding gate at least 1 hour before their flight is scheduled to depart.

These guidelines are intended to help passengers navigate through increased airport activity efficiently and ensure a smooth travel experience during busy periods.
