To add more perks to your nol card, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched the nol Travel discount card initiative. This initiative offers users various benefits, including discounts on public transport, taxi fare payments, and parking fees in the Emirate.
In addition to discounts and offers, nol card users can access 100 exclusive promotions, including deals at hotels, restaurants, retail stores, entertainment venues, adventure activities, and more. Sounds like a great deal, right?
The announcement was made on Monday, 10 June at Address Skyview Hotel Dubai in Downtown Dubai to introduce the new nol Travel discount card in collaboration with MDX Solutions Middle East. The package will be available at various outlets, including Zoom, Al Ansari Exchange, Euro Car at the airport, and Rayna Tours offices.
The CEO of the Corporate Technology Support Services Sector at RTA, Mohammed Yousef Al Mudharreb, said the nol Travel card is an incentive package for various public transport users, including residents, tourists, and visitors to the UAE, especially Dubai.
Mohammed Yousef Al Mudharreb added, "RTA aims to delight the public through this initiative by offering products customised to customer needs. This card offers users integrated public transport services and access to tourist facilities through a single card. The nol brand is a strong payment method in Dubai, with more than 5 million users and 3 million daily transactions."
How Is nol Travel Card Beneficial?
The new nol Travel card adds to the current nol card's benefits, which include payments for public transport, taxi fares, parking fees, and retail purchases. Buyers of the nol Travel card receive a regular nol card, suitable for residents, visitors, and tourists. The card enables users to access the Dubai metro, tram, public buses, and marine transport.
Cardholders also get to enjoy a wide range of discounts with 100 exclusive promotions valued at over Dhs 70,000 across various tourist facilities, hotels, restaurants, retail stores, entertainment venues, adventures, and more in Dubai.
It covers 50 brands across 65 outlets and discounts are available from Rayna Tours, Emaar At the Top, Nakheel The View at the Palm Jumeirah, Bab Al Qasr Hotel restaurants, Swiss Hotel restaurants, Dubai Ladies Club, Health First Pharmacies, G-Shock Watches, Sharaf Retail, and many others. And these discounts range from 10% to 50%.
In terms of the price for this nol Travel card, it is initially priced at Dhs 200 for a year with a balance of Dhs 19 and can be renewed annually for Dhs 150.
