With Eid Al Adha approaching, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, has directed the Department of Finance to disburse June salaries to Dubai Government employees on 13 June, ahead of the holiday.
This decision underscores His Highness Sheikh Hamdan's dedication to supporting employees in managing their family needs and ensuring their happiness and well-being. The move aims to ensure that employees can celebrate Eid Al Adha with peace of mind and financial security.
Regarding the Eid Al Adha holiday dates, Arafat Day is currently expected to fall on Sunday, 16 June, with the start of Eid Al Adha expected the following day, marking the beginning of a three-day public holiday in the UAE. However, though no official announcement has been made in the UAE, Saudi Arabia announced that Arafat Day will fall on Saturday, 15 June, with the first day of Eid Al Adha falling on Sunday, 16 June.
