Emirates Pays 20-Week Bonus To Employees

Emirates employees have reason to celebrate as the Emirates Group, which includes the airline and ground-handling unit dnata, is giving eligible employees a bonus equivalent to 20 weeks' salary. This follows the group's record profit for the financial year ending 31 March.

Emirates Group's exceptional financial performance in the 2023 to 2024 fiscal year has led to significant rewards for its employees. With a record profit of Dhs 18.7 billion, marking a remarkable 71% increase from the previous year, and a record revenue of Dhs 137.3 billion, the group demonstrated its robust growth. 

Emirates Airtline alone reported a record profit of Dhs 17.2 billion, while dnata saw a substantial profit increase to Dhs 1.4 billion. Both entities experienced significant revenue growth, reflecting the group's expansion efforts worldwide to meet rising customer demand. 

Notably, Emirates' workforce expanded by 10%, reaching a total of 112,406 employees, its highest ever. As a token of appreciation, Emirates awarded its entire staff with a bonus equivalent to 20 weeks' salary, reinforcing its commitment to its workforce amidst its remarkable success. The bonus will be credited to its staff's May salaries.
