Dubai Metro Extends Operating Hours

For safer travel during rainy weather and timely airport arrivals, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced an update for the Dubai Metro. On Thursday, 2 May, the Dubai Metro (Red Line) will operate for extended hours, from midnight until 5am the next day.

To facilitate your transportation to and from Dubai International Airport, #RTA informs you that #DubaiMetro operating hours will be extended on Wednesday and Thursday, May 1 and 2, 2024, from 12:00 AM midnight to 5:00 AM (next day). Trains will depart from Centrepoint Metro Station and make stops only at Emirates Metro Station, Airport Terminal 1 Station, Airport Terminal 3 Station, and GGICO Station to facilitate transportation to and from Dubai International Airport.

RTA advises passengers to have a balance of Dhs 15 on their Nol card before starting their journey. Taxis will be readily available at Centrepoint and GGICO stations to conveniently take you to your destinations once you exit the metro.
