For passengers flying with Emirates but connecting onward from Dubai, the airline has issued an important update. As Emirates Airlines strives to restore normal operations following heavy rainfall, it has declared the suspension of check-in services for all customers with connecting flights through Dubai until 11.59pm on 19 April. This measure aims to aid in the recovery of operations at the Dubai hub affected by recent adverse weather conditions.
Emirates Airlines took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share this update with the passengers. As per the update, passengers already in Dubai and in transit will continue to be processed for their flights. Passengers travelling to Dubai as their final destination may check-in and travel as usual.
Additionally, Emirates has advised passengers to anticipate delays for both departures and arrivals and recommends checking the latest flight schedules on the Emirates website.
Lastly, Emirates suggests that impacted passengers should contact their booking agent or Emirates office for rebooking options.
